Admissions Information
PRIORITY STATUS
Priority registration will occur in January for UPC members, currently
enrolled children, siblings of currently enrolled children, and siblings of previously enrolled children. The general public may register by mail. Applications for the two-year-old classes for the following school year, must be postmarked no earlier than the first of February. Applications for the three, four and five classes will be received at any time.
Priority Status for Enrollment
For the two year old class: |
1. Children of UPC members, children of UPC staff, and children of currently employed UPPS staff*
2. Siblings of currently enrolled UPPS
children. The older sibling must also be applying/enrolling for that school year*
3. Siblings of currently enrolled UPPS children who will not be applying/enrolling at UPPS for the upcoming school year
4. Siblings of formerly enrolled MMO, UPPK, UPPS children*
5. General public*
*lottery may be necessary

Non priority applications for 2-year-olds are accepted during the first 10 days in February and are placed in a lottery for selection to fill the remaining spaces available and to begin the wait list. Names of applicants received after this time, are added to the bottom of the wait lists.

For the three, four, and five-year-old classes: |

Children with special needs will be considered if they do not require extraordinary teacher supervision and/or special facilities.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Please read all of the General Information on this web page and the medical consent form before completing and signing the application. Return the application, medical consent form, and application fee to the address at the top of the application form.

Fill out all of the questions on the application. There will be an opportunity to update the information before the school year begins.

A required non-refundable application fee of $30 must accompany this application for all children who are not currently enrolled in UPPS.

Checks should be made out to University Presbyterian Preschool.

Parents of children applying to the transitional five-year-old class are asked to speak with the director concerning the appropriateness of this class for their child. Observation of this class and the four-year-old class can be arranged so parents can learn of differences in the two classes (i.e., schedule, curriculum, expectations).
