CLASSES OFFERED
Two Year Olds:
Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday
Teacher/student ratio 1:5

Three Year Olds:
Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday-Friday
Teacher/student ratio 1:6 or 7

Four Year Olds:
Monday through Thursday
Teacher/student ratio 1:8

Five Year Olds:
Monday through Friday
Teacher/student ratio 1:9

The primary goal for two year olds is for each child to experience a secure, happy, and positive social time with other children their own age in a "school" type setting. For three year olds the emphasis is on social development within a successful, happy experience. For four year olds the emphasis is on play and social development as well as pre-reading, pre-math, and pre-writing skills in hands-on-learning. The transitional five-year-old class emphasizes developing successful social relationships, independent thinking skills, problem solving, and strengthening cognitive skills needed for a successful kindergarten entrance.

AGES:  Children must reach the appropriate class age by August 31.  The cut-off date will be October 16 for children applying to the transitional five-year-old class.  The Director will make exceptions on a case by case basis.

 

 TUITION AND SUPPLY FEES:  The tuition and supply fee rates for the program year are listed below.  The supply fee is due by May 31, prior to entry the following September.  Tuition may be paid in the total amount or divided into 9 equal monthly payments. The deposit applies toward the May tuition of that school year.  The tuition amounts reflect the program rate for the year and are subject to change.

 

Tuition and fees for 2010-2011

 

2 year old classes:
   2 days:  supply fee $90, tuition $1,413/year or $157/month
  
3 year old classes: 
   3 days:  supply fee $100, tuition $2,115/year or $235/month

4 year old class:
  supply fee $120, tuition $ 2,808/year or $312/month

transitional 5-year old class:
  supply fee $135, tuition $3,474/year or $386/month

 

TOILET TRAINING: Children are not expected to enter the two year old class toilet trained. The facilities prevent the teachers from adequately staffing the three, four, and transitional five classes if they need to frequently leave to diaper children. Parents are encouraged to talk with the director if these children are not toilet trained.

 
SCHOLARSHIPS:  Scholarship applications are available through the director and are due by April 1 for the following year. Application for scholarship can be made at any time during the school year as the need arises. Click here for an application.
