We focus on Peacemaking. We consider how we are peacemakers in our households and prayerfully encourage that spirit into and beyond University Presbyterian Church. This group engages in peacemaking education, supports our church’s membership in Bread for the World , and explores other avenues of peacemaking. Most recently we have led the congregation’s efforts at providing a safe summer opportunity for children at high risk of violence and gang life by creating scholarships to a local church camp. If concerns of justice and making peace are part of your spiritual journey and reflection, this group may be the place for you!
