A Festival of Carols - December 2010

The University Presbyterian Church Children's Choir is open to all children in Kindergarten to Second grade.  (Second graders are also invited to join the Junior Choir if they are strong readers and can sit through a 40-minute choral rehearsal.)  The Children's Choir is not focused on performance.  This choir is focused on experiencing music in a variety of ways and learning to sing on pitch.  This choir plays  instruments (xylophones and nonmelodic percussion), sings songs, and moves to music.  The Children's Choir does sing in worship, but the choir is not performance driven. The Children's Choir rehearses from September to May and usually leads the music in worship when they are ready at the 11:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. services. Contact , the Director of Youth and Children's Choirs, for more information or call 919-929-2102.

Bring a friend. See old friends.
Everyone is welcome!
